The World LP Gas Association (WLPGA) creates the environment to develop and sustain LP Gas markets worldwide.
It achieves this by identifying market opportunities for LP Gas, in both rural and urban settings, and supports the growth and development of existing markets.
WLPGA cooperates with international organisations on several projects that help implement the concept 'Helping people help themselves'
The Rural Energy Challenge
The LP Gas Rural Energy Challenge is a public-private partnership initiative between the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the WLPGA. It was designed to create viable and sustainable markets for LP Gas delivery and consumption as a means to generate.
Morocco Microfinance Project
The Morocco microfinance project combines the portable and clean burning nature of LP Gas with microfincance institutions to provide energy access to rural areas. WLPGA is keen to assist and lead on similar projects all over the world.
